Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Welsh 'Plumes' Sixpence, 1707, draped bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, plumes in angles, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 3.01g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 251; ESC 1590; Bull 1455; S.3623), a few very light flecks otherwise full mint bloom underlying rich dark cabinet tone, practically as struck, rarae in this exemplary state
