Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Welsh 'Plumes' Halfcrown, 1708 SEPTIMO, second draped bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, plumes in angles, eight strings to harp, upwards lettered edge, 14.99g, 6h (ESC 578; Bull 1369; S.3606), a GLORIOUS example, with glorious mint brilliance ensnared by rich indigo-blue cabinet toning, practically as struck, rare in this arresting state, and one of the most attractive gems from the Fuller cabinet and the nicest offered in these rooms since the Adams (2005) dispersal
