Anne (1702-1714), Pre-Union, Welsh 'Plumes' Shilling, 1705, second draped bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, plumes in angles, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 5.94g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 221; ESC 1135; Bull 1392; S.3588), some light scratches on obverse and faint flecking on reverse and a small cut on the edge near 9 o'clock, otherwise colourfully toned, a pleasingly bold very fine
