Anne (1702-1714), Pre-Union, VIGO Sixpence, 1703, second draped bust left, VIGO below, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, four strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 2.96g, 7h (Pywell-Phillips 222; ESC 1582; Bull 1446; S.3590), light haymarking in otherwise lustrous and cabinet toned fields, especially fiery in recesses, a pleasing extremely fine, scarce in this state!
