William and Mary (1688-1694), Halfcrown, 1689 PRIMO, first conjoined laureate and draped busts right, rev, first crowned shield, no frosting, with pearls, seven strings to harp, seven billets, downwards lettered edge, 14.95g, 6h (ESC 507; Bull 835; S.3434), historic scratches to left of shield, the obverse lightly wiped, otherwise richly re-toned, the reverse with delightful cabinet patination, a really pleasingly bold very fine
