Commonwealth (1649-1660), Crown, 1651, Tower, · THE · COMMONWEALTH · OF · ENGLAND · shield of England in wreath of laurel and palm, rev. · GOD · WITH · VS · value over shields of England and Ireland in beaded circle, 29.82g, 5h, i.m. sun [on obverse only] (ESC 3 [R4]; Bull 3 [R4]; Tisbury I, 822; North 2721; S.3214), bright but lustrous with hints of very minor metal stressing on a broad flan, lightly but colourfully cabinet toned, good very fine, a very rare date and finer than the Montagu specimen
