(m.m.) · QVÆ · DEVS · CONIVNXIT · NEMO · SEPARET · square-topped and lightly garnished shield, 29.838g, 7h, m.m. thistle (S.5501), light antique scratches in fields and a small bruise to reverse rim, with an overt striking crack above rump of horse, otherwise lightly rubbed and uniformly cabinet toned, the centre strictly fine, the peripheries and reverse nearing very fine
