Mary, Solus (1553-1554), Groats, Tower (2), crowned and draped bust left, rev. , square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 1.739g, 10h, m.m. pomegranate, pierced and split at edge, otherwise rubbed and crimped and darkly cabinet toned, struck details bolder than fine; another, reading FRA : Z : hIB : REGI, as before, 1.939g, 10h, m.m. pomegranate (Hawkins 429; North 1960; S.2492), crimped and with a minor flan split, otherwise uniformly toned, the centres fair, the peripheries bolder than fine; lastly, Philip and Mary (1554-1558), Groat, Tower, reading REGINA, crowned and draped bust left, rev. shield over long cross fourchée, 1.776g, 6h, m.m. lys (North 1973; S.2508), love-tokened and subsequently straightened, otherwise uniformly toned with colourful accentuations with hints of residual lustre, the centres scarcely fine, the peripheries very fine (3)
