CIVITAS LONDON, long cross and trio of pellets in angles, 0.270g, 4h (North 1889; S.2426), in base fabric, otherwise details uniform for strike, about very fine, scarce; also, Base Pennies, 1547-1551 (2), Tower, H D G ROSA SIN SPI, larger crowned Holbeinesque bust facing, rev. CIVITAS LONDON, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 0.542g, 8h, no m.m. (North 1883; S.2417), some antique scuffs, otherwise darkly cabinet toned, about very fine; another, York, similar, rev. CIVITAS EBORACI, as before, 0.530g, 8h, no m.m. (North 1888; S.2424), on a baser fabric, otherwise fair / fine (3)
