Henry V (1413-1422), Series C, Penny, London, crowned bust facing, mullet and broken annulet by crown, rev. CIVITAS LONDON, long cross and trio of pellets in angles, 0.760g [11.729grns], 8h, m.m. cross pattée (Hawkins -; North 1396; S.1778), hint of die clashing on a shorter flan, otherwise a delightful example for type, richly cabinet toned, a really good very fine, very seldom encountered so presentable; also, Series C, Halfpenny, London, similar, but broken annulets both sides of crown, 0.455g [7.022grns], 11h, m.m. pierced cross (North 1409; S.1794), spots of verdigris on a small flan, otherwise a pleasingly bold very fine, again a rarity in this exemplary condition; another, similar, 0.433g, 12h, some verdigris, otherwise toned, almost very fine; also, Series F, Pennies, York (2), as first, but mullet and trefoil by crown, rev. CIVITAS EBORACI, quatrefoil at centre of reverse, 0.926g, 4h (North 1403; S.1788), cabinet toned with hints of die clashing, otherwise a pleasing very fine; another, as last, 0.788g, 1h (North 1403; S.1788), chipped at lower edge, otherwise toned, fine or marginally better; another, Series G, temp. Archbishop Bowet, similar, but with London dies, mullet to left, lys to right of crown, rev. muled with an Annulet Issue of Henry VI, additional annulet in second quarter, and annulet after TAS, 0.887g, 6h (North 1404; S.1790), small striking split at 10 o'clock, otherwise toned, on an elliptical flan fair / good fine (6)
