A mixed collection on stockcards comprising a used group of 1847-54 embossed issues including 6d. (6), 1/- (5) and three covers (4), three addressed to Macclesfield with 1853 10d. on wrapper from London, 1841-53 1d. red-brown mint examples (8), 1841 2d. blue (16, one being unused with faults), 1854-58 1d. unused (15), 2d. blue used (40) and four covers, 1858-79 1d. AB-BC block of four in a bright rose-red shade, large part original gum, 1858-76 2d. blue (6 unused, 78 used), 1870 3½d. unused (13), 1902-10 used and mint selection (90+) with much duplication of high values (40+) including 10/- unused (3, some faults) , King George V seahorses (10+) including, 1913 Waterlow £1 used (3) with faults (S.G. 404, £3200), 1915 De la Rue 10/- deep blue mounted mint, 1934 10/- block of four unused (faults), 1929 Postal Union Congress £1 black used, and a washed example; a group of QV covers (15+) to various destinations (10+ addressed overseas), a number of Officials QV to EDVII (80+) with I.R 1880-1881 6d. unused (faults), 1887 6d. unused, government parcels 1883-86 1/- orange-brown, plate 13, cancelled by 1886 c.d.s., mixed condition throughout, viewing recommended.
