A collection of various English companies including London & Metropolitan 1866 imperf. blocks of ¼d. deep blue (6), ½d. greenish grey (8), ½d. deep dull purple (6) and ½d. dull mauve (4), pin perf. with ¼d. blue (16) and vertical strip of three imperforate horizontally, the scarce ½d. greenish blue (9) ½d. deep dull purple (9); rough perf. ¼d. blue (8) and ½d. dull purple (12); Metropolitan in singles and multiples plus ¼d. rose-carmine part sheet of thirty six; London & District: 1867 perf.13 ¼d. claret error of colour, a strip of six in a block of forty eight ½d. claret from the lower left sheet corner, with full original gum; National with 1867 ¼d. green (8); Liverpool includes 1867 ½d. slate-lilac in a top right corner block of nine with blank impression in corner, large part original gum, fresh and fine; also ¼d. sepia imperf. in a block of twelve and ½d. slate-lilac in a left margin block of fourteen.
