A group of covers (14) and a few cancellations on stamps on piece on exhibition pages comprising Forbes Reef (3) with postcard, Postal Stationery envelope and 'O.H.M.S.' envelope respectively showing the three Types of 'Forbes Reef' canceller, Kubuta (3) including 1939 (1 Jul.) envelope registered to England bearing 1933 2d. pair and 1935 Silver Jubilee 6d. pair all tied by 'kubuta' double-ring datestamps (Type 1), two further envelopes bearing 1938-52 stamps with the same canceller, Mooihoek (3) including 1934 (1 Sept.) envelope to Port Elizabeth tied by 'mooihoek' double-ring datestamp (Type 1), 1934 (9 Nov.) registered envelope to Port Elizabeth bearing 1933 1d. (6) all tied by five clear strikes of the same type canceller, Sandhlan (3) including a 1d. Newspaper wrapper to England cancelled 'sandhlan/ swaziland' double-ring c.d.s., and White Umbuluzi (2) comprising envelope to England bearing SA 2d. tied by superb 'white umbuluzi' double-ring c.d.s. (the earliest reported usage) and long unfranked envelope to England, taxed 4d. and with GB Postage Due 1d. and 3d. applied, and the envelope with superb strike of 'white umbuluzi' double-ring datestamp at upper right, etc.; a very interesting and fine group
