1872 (9 Feb.) letter from Cette a Tarascon addressed to Tain, Drôme insured for two thousand francs and bearing 1870 80c. horizontal strip of five and 1871 25c. horizontal strip of three each cancelled by "3982" in lozenge of dots obliterator, the reverse with despatch, transit 'Marseille a Lyon' (9.2) and arrival datestamps, minor peripheral imperfections and wax seals removed from the reverse not detracting from the overall appearance.
