A group of covers and postal stationery including 1844 unstamped envelope used within London with a 'Stanley' signature at lower left (at this time Lord Stanley was the colonial secretary, Port Stanley was named after him), KGV 2d. blue Registered envelope unused (Size F), 1930 piece bearing GB 1d. tied by 'port stanley' c.d.s. and with 'posted on the high seas/ r.m.s. orduna' handstamp alongside, 1944 South Shetlands panoramic postcard franked with 2d. South Shetlands overprint, 1949 6d. Air letter bearing 1938-52 6d. tied by 'port stanley' c.d.s, a couple of used O.H.M.S. envelopes (1952 and 1980), a few used and unused Airletters; a good group
