1849-52 imperf 10c. yellowish bistre horizontal tête-bêche pair, [57-58], good to large margins, unused without gum, fine. Extremely rare. Behr, Brun and Goebel Certificates (2003).

Note: There are only seven tête-bêche recorded in the yellowish bistre shade. The printer used two plates of 150 each, one plate having three tête-bêche cliches at positions 27, 58 and 145. A total of 17,059,500 stamps of this value were printed in all shades from both plates.
