NGC PF60 | Victoria (1837-1901), Pattern Proof 'Gothic' Crown, MDCCCXLVII [1847] UNDECIMO, by W Wyon, crowned 'Gothic' bust left, W.W. below truncation, rev. crowned shields cruciform, national emblems in angles, lettered edge downwards [Spink XRF: 95.91% Ag = Britannia Fine], 28.20g, 6h (ESC 288; Bull 2571; S.3883), cabinet friction in otherwise brilliant, a pleasing extremely fine, one of only 8,000 struck, with hints of peripheral tone in reverse fields, in NGC holder, graded PF60 (Cert. #8220538-001)
