George II (1727-1760), LIMA Half-Guinea, 1745, intermediate laureate head left, LIMA below, rev. crowned garnished shield, larger and wider crown, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 4.14g, 6h (EGC 647; MCE 354 [R2]; Schneider 591; S.3684), scratch behind bust and some light flecking, with a hint of red tone to fields and lustre, very fine and a pleasing rare type
