POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE' MEVM // CIVITAS LONDON, long cross, with trefoils in angles, 1.19g, 11h, i.m. halved sun and rose 2 [on obverse only] (DIG 21 dies 6/2vi; North 1682; S.2162), clipped short as usual for issue, with a minor flan curl and classic 'blue-grey' field tone, the devices strictly fine, the legends nearer very fine, but the grimacing visage imposing and clear, OF THE HIGHEST RARITY
