E | AD | N | OD, in angles of quadrilobe, reverse-barred N, lozenge O, divided by pellet cross, 1.374g [21.204grns], 9h (Naismith E2.2; EMC 1989.1001 = L R Stack [1999], 339 same reverse die; EMC 2001.0150 same obverse die [Newark-on-Trent]; SCBI 67 [BM], 829; North 433/1; S.947A), struck with rusted dies, otherwise richly field-toned and of excellent metal, almost extremely fine, of the highest rarity, only five examples listed on EMC/SCBI, this an undeniable connoisseur's cabinet piece
