Edward I (1272-1307), 'Long Cross' Penny, 1279, Class 1d, London, + EDW R/ ANGL' DNS hVB, crowned bust facing, drapery in two pieces, rev. CIVITAS LONDON, long cross with three pellets in angles, 1.44g, 2h (North 1013; S.1383), a delightfully well-struck and neat example with a deep cabinet tone, very fine, and a truly desirable cabinet coin!
