WALTER ON CANT, front-backed As, pellet-barred N, voided long cross, trefoil of pellets in angles, 1.42g, 5h (LAL [BNJ 1912], p. 152, Pl. 1 = LAL II, 437 same dies ["Pearly Crown"]; LAL IV [1951], 1051; FEJ I, 1248 same dies; Sazama 1183; CT 546; North 995; S.1371), usual partial striking softness to peripheries, otherwise rich old cabinet tone, a really good fine to verging on very fine in parts, extremely rare
