NGC XF | (Tsarist) Russia, Ekaterina II Velikaya (Catherine the Great) (1762-1792), Gold 10-Roubles, 1776 CNB, St Petersburg, crowned, draped and cuirassed narrower bust right, rev. crowned coats-of-arms cruciform, Imperial eagle at centre, date in angles, edge obliquely milled, 13.09g, 12h (Craig 79a; Fr. 129a), cleaned and soft to the portrait, nonetheless a very fine example of this sought after type, with an original mintage of only 90,000 pieces, in NGC holder, graded XF Details ~ Cleaned (Cert. #8220521-016)
