(m.m.) CVLTORES SVIDEVS PROTEGIT, crowned and garnished shield, five strings to harp, 2.27g, 7h, m.m. cross calvary (Schneider II, 223; Brooker 185 this coin; North 2180; S.2710), some partial softness, yet with a red-golden tone and residual lustre, a pleasing very fine, and from the fabled John Godfrey Brooker Collection of Carolean Coinage, in NGC holder, graded MS61 (Cert. #8220522-002)
