IhC x AVTEM x TRANCIENS x P : MEDIVM x ILLORR x' IBAT, additional lys in second quarter, floriate cross, crowned leopards in angles, pellets to corners of central panel, large E at centre, 7.67g [119.6gr], 12h, m.m. cross potent (Kenyon [1884], p. 25, -, cf. no. 20 [Lockett 3976 = East Raynham, no. 68]; Montagu II, 417; Schneider I, 57; LAL, dies Ce/14; Doubleday 165 this coin; North 1222; S.1499), slight shortness of flan and overt softness to King's portrait, nonetheless an overall bolder striking, residually lustrous, strictly very fine / a pleasing very fine, a very scarce variety, in NGC holder, generously graded MS64 (Cert. #8220521-009)
