MARI VICTRIX TERRAQUE INVICTA, Britannia seated amongst arms and trophies, holds a figure of victory, AVITUM TRANSCENDIT HONOREM MDCCXCVIII in exergue in three lines, plain edge, 48mm, 55.72g (Eimer 897; BHM 458; MH 1919, 544), with the usal small metal flaw to the edge at 7 o'clock, with a most handsome brilliant flare in hues of ochre and pinks to light and warm brown surfaces, choice and highly desirable thus, in NGC holder, graded MS64 BN (Cert. #6767991-001) [*Finest Certified*]
