(x) NGC PF62 | Victoria (1837-1901), Pattern Proof 'Gothic' Crown, MDCCCXLVII [1847] UNDECIMO, by W Wyon, crowned 'Gothic' bust left, W.W. below truncation, rev. crowned shields cruciform, national emblems in angles, raised lettered edge downwards, 28.27g, 6h (ESC 288; Bull 2571; S.3883), minor hairline wisps to the fields, nonetheless with a hint of cameo defintion to portraiture and a bloom of violet and pearlescent toning to brilliant fields, a pleasing extremely fine, an icon of the British numismatic series, in NGC holder, graded PF62 (Cert. #6767995-003)
