NGC AU58 | George II (1727-1760), 'Old Head' Crown, 1750 VICESIMO QVARTO, old laureate and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, eight strings to harp, angles plain, edge lettered downwards, 6h (ESC 128; Bull 1671; S.3690), small bruise to the cheek, a touch of softness to hair curls, otherwise with a most pleasing cabinet tone, underlying hints of flashy lustre to the reverse, a really most pleasingly good very fine. In NGC holder, graded AU58 (Cert. #6944999-005)
