(x) PCGS AU | William and Mary (1688-1694), Royal African Company, Guinea, 1689 'Elephant and Castle', conjoined busts right, E&C below, rev. crowned shield, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 6h (MCE 149; EGC 361; S.3427), two unfortunate scuffs before face, and a flaw above MAG the result of a clogged die, otherwise attractively lustrous with a further light reddish hue, pleasingly bold very fine, in PCGS holder, graded AU Details ~ Scratch (Cert. #45681149)
