The L'Abbaye Collection: Part Two | George II (1727-1760), 'Old Head' Shilling, 1758, 'Normal 58', older laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, eight strings to harp, seven hearts to semée, angles plain, smaller Garter star, edge obliquely milled, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 349; ESC 1213; Bull 1734; S.3704), an outrageously choice specimen, wondrous FDC, even for this commonly-encountered issue, genuinely rare in this true mint state
