REX •, wire line inner circle within beaded circle both sides, crowned draped bust 3a left, wearing ruff, value behind, rev. • FLORENT • CONCORDIA • REGNA • (m.m.) •, crowned oval quartered coat of arms, pellets in field, C-R flanking either side, six strings to Irish harp, raised die flaw after legend, 8.94g [137.9grns], 1h, m.m. plume (cf. Brooker 68; cf. Schneider II, 137; cf. Slaney II, 302; North 2150; S.2690), small edge bruise on obverse at 7 o'clock, the fields lightly brushed but retaining residual lustre, uniformly struck up for type, a most pleasingly bold very fine to near extremely fine in parts, very rare
