Roman Empire, Vespasian (AD 69-79), AE Sestertius, 'Judaea Capta' issue, struck 71, IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG PM TR P P P COS III, laureate head right, rev. IVDAEA CAPTA, palm tree, to left field, Judaea seated left on cuirass in attitude of mourning, to right field a male captive standing left with hands bound, arms scattered around both figures, S C in exergue, 25.07g (RIC 165; Cohen 238; Hendin 773), red-brown patina, tool-marks but a nice portrait, good fine to very fine, determined by NGC as 'Tooled', therefore ungraded [NGC Submission #5878653-011]
