NGC Ch VF | Roman Empire, Augustus (27 BC-AD 14), AV Aureus, DIVI F PATER PATRIAE CAESAR AVGVSTVS, laureate head left, rev. CL CAESARES AVGVSTI F COS DESIG PRINC. IVVENT, Caius and Lucius Caesares standing facing, shields and spears between them, 7.77g (RIC 206; Calico 176; Cohen 42), slightly clipped to edge, some details to reverse softened but a nice portrait, about very fine, in an NGC 'Ancients' holder, graded Choice Very Fine ~ brushed (Strike: 4/5, Surface: 3/5) [NGC Cert. No. 8221848-003]
