T CARISIVS, implements for coining money: anvil die with garlanded punch die above, tongs and hammer on either side, all within laurel wreath, 3.89g (Crawford 464/2; Sear, Imperators 70; Sydenham 982a; Carisia 1a; RBW 1614), split to edges of flan, nevertheless lustrous, lightly toned and detailed, good very fine, in an NGC 'Ancients' holder, graded Extremely Fine (Strike: 4/5, Surface: 4/5) [NGC Cert. #8220524-006]
