Roman Republic, Pair of Anonymous Bronze Units (2): i) AE Sextans, struck c. 215-211 BC, head of Mercury right, wearing winged petasus, two pellets above, rev. prow right, ROMA above, two pellets below, 11.99g (Crawford 41/9; Sydenham 107, BMCRE 72), light green patina, some porosity but otherwise good fine; ii) AE Semuncia, c. 215-217 BC, turreted female (Cybele?) bust right, wearing drapery and necklace, rev. ROMA, naked rider, holding whip, pracing on horseback right, 4.68g (Crawford 39/5; Sydenham 97; BMCRR (Romano-Campanian) 136), green-brown patina, residual lustre, detailed, albeit with a small patch of oxidisation to the reverse, good very fine or better; (2).
