(g) George IV (1820-1830), 'Chantrey's' Sovereign, 1829, bare head left, rev. crowned garnished shield, edge milled, 7.99g, 7h (Marsh 14; MCE 480; EGC II, 973; Bentley 22; Spink 3801), lightly cleaned on obverse with some minor scratches on cheek, otherwise residually lustrous, the reverse quite brilliant and probably struck with a polished (Proof) die, a bolder extremely fine
