George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Sixpence, 1731, younger laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, roses and plumes in angles, edge obliquely milled, 3.02g, 6h (ESC 1607; Bull 1741; Spink 3707), lightly toned and lustrous, a most pleasingly good very fine / extremely fine and much as issued
