Charles I (1625-1649), Group B, Class II, Gold Crown, 1638-1639, Tower (under King), smaller single-arched third crowned bust left, wearing ruff, large mark of value behind, rev. crowned square-topped shield, m.m. anchor, 2.26g [34.9grns], 12h (Brooker 195; Schneider II, 229; North 2182; Spink 2712), tiny edge splits to an otherwise full and neat flan, a hint of rub to higher points of portrait, a pleasing very fine / good very fine
