The Khedive Abbas Hilmi Bravery Medal was instituted by an Army Order on 10 May 1913, only to be made obsolete on 19 December 1914 with the deposition of Khedive. This was essentially the Egyptian counterpart to Britain's Distinguished Conduct Medal.
