George Wilson was born on 18 February 1866 and entered the Royal Household as a Joiner/Cabinet Maker on the Inspector's Staff at Windsor Castle in 1898. Having risen to become Chief Cabinet Maker and then Foreman of the Superintendent's Staff by August 1936, Wilson retired in September 1939; sold together with copied research.
