Military General Service 1793-1814, 1 clasp, Busaco (Charles Bradley, 27th Foot.), nearly extremely fine
Charles Bradley is confirmed upon the roll with entitlement to this medal and clasp.
Bradley was a member of the 27th (Inniskilling) Regiment of Foot and saw action with his unit at the Battle of Busaco on 27 September 1810 during the Peninsular Campaign. At Busaco, the 27th Foot were in the 2nd Brigade, 4th Division, under the command of Major-General Lowry Cole and were positioned along the northern crest of the Serra do Busaco mountain ridge, to the North of the Busaco Convent; sold together with a copy of the medal roll.
