Purchased Burman, June 2012.

Reverse with inscription:

'Presented by the Citizens of Worcester to Tr. R. C. Bomford in recognition of his services with the Worcestershire Imperial Yeomanry, South African War 1899-1900-1901.'

Robert Comeby Bomford served with the 16th (Worcestershire) Company, 5th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry (No. 7219) and had this Medal given at the Presentation on 28 November 1901.
