(x) A 19th Century Zulu Iklwa, 102.5cm, the blade of heavy construction 42cm x 5.5cm, bound to a red ivory wood hilt with very intricate brass wiring, the hilt lightly flares out for the whole of it's length terminating with another section of fine brass wirework.

Provenance:
Acquired in 2001 from the Malakatha Mountain area just 10km or so from the Isandlwana battlefield.
Ian Wilkinson Collection 2001-April 2008.
