(x) A 19th Century Zulu Knobkerrie, 71cm, two tone onion head, with haft elaborately decorated in brass and iron wirework, with small hole for a leather wrist thong, of heavy and solid construction

Provenance:
Originally belonged to the great grandfather of a Zulu called George Sithole, who lived half-way up Ntili Hill which is south of Pomeroy and about 35km south-west of Rorke's Drift.
