(x) Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 3 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, South Africa 1902 (6961 Pte, R. Perry: Manch. Regt.), contact marks, good very fine

Robert Perry was born at Bucknall, Hanley in Staffordshire in January 1880 and was a collier when he enlisted in the 4th Volunteer Battalion Manchester Regiment on 29 November 1899. He was embodied in the 6th Battalion and served in South Africa from 5 April 1900 until 6 January 1902 being discharged time expired on 28 November 1905.
