Royal Aero Club Gold Medal, the reverse engraved 'Squadron Leader A. G. Jones-Williams, M.C., Non-Stop Flight England-India, 24th 26th April 1929', in its fitted Heming & Co, Conduit St fitted case, nearly extremely fine

Together with forwarding letter from Sir Philip Sassoon to Mrs Jones-Williams, which includes:

'...I am so glad - as Chairman of the Aero Club - to send you this Gold Medal - which is given for outstanding flying achievement of the year. It is the best thing we can give, small as it is. It is a melancholy pleasure for me that it should go to Arthur - I have never been able to find the words to tell you what his death means to me...'
