F. C. G. Wilson was a Regimental Policeman in the Provost Section of the 1st Battalion in Korea. On 15 October 1951, at KOWANG NI the RSM's 15-cwt truck was damaged by Chinese shellfire. In spite of the shelling Wilson went forward and successfully moved it out of danger. In this endeavour he dislocated his right knee and had to be evacuated to hospital. His Father who lived at 27 Lander Road, Saltash Cornwall was notified by the War Office of his injury. He had previously served during the Second World War with the Royal Engineers; sold together with a copied research including an extract from the regimental journal, newspaper cutting and medical report.
