this note is a printer's model for a proposed issue of a £1, with no date and unlisted in Pick and the Banknote Book, the design is highly intriguing. The obverse is blue and blue-green, displaying a portrait of a man to the right. The reverse features a depiction in brown of a bullom boat at the centre, with the denomination on either side. Interestingly the bank's title and the country name is partially obscured or blanked out. The note goes side by side with its counterpart, which is also part of this sale
