National Bank of Greece, specimen 500 Drachmai, 13th October 1921, serial number 00000, obverse face features a portrait of Georgios Stavros (founder of the National Bank of Greece) at left, allegorical woman at centre, and a coat of arms with the word neon overprint at right.
Reverse face depicts Athena at left, temple of Poseidon (Sounion) at centre, Poseideon at right, with Doric columns throughout.
