(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereign, 1872 [Die 90] (3), second larger young head, W.W. in relief on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 7h, 7.95g; 6h, 7.96g; 6h, 7.95g (Marsh 56; Spink 3853B; MCE 533), all with the faintest of contact marks and some rub, the first with a die flaw to the I in GRATIA and GRATIA double struck on the second and third, otherwise all with pleasing lustre in parts, very fine (3)
